(Education)LENS POLYTECHNIC OFFA KWARA STATE START THEIR 2ND SEMESTER EXAM BY 6TH APRIL 2021

 The management of Lens Polytechnic offa kwara State, reveal that all ND 2 and HND 1 student's are to start their 2nd semester examination on 6th April 2021. The school proprietor,Mr Abdul-azeez stated this during his meeting with the examination coordinator few days ago. He said that all the students are to come to the examination hall with all the criterias for the exam e.g the school I.D card, school receipt, and the course form. He added that all the students should obey all the Covid 19 protocols.

(Education) Lens Polytechnic to commence E- Learning by August 2021.

 Lens Polytechnic will commence electronic learning (E-learning) soon,the Rector of the school Mr Zacheus Ajiroba disclose this today 17th March 2021. Making disclosure interview with campus reporter,Mr Ajiroba said the private polytechnic (Lens polytechnic) is one of the few polytechnic in Nigeria selected by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)  to start the program in Nigeria. According to the astute polytechnic admistrator,the program would make it possible for people to study from outside the four of the polytechnic,to make the program a reality in the school, Ajiroba said ( A national telecommunication company) Glo has to come to the school to install some telecommunication facilities and equipment.

Court remands man,23, for stabbing co-tenant

 An offa Magistrate court on Tuesday remanded a 23 year-old man,okunlola Sodeeq,in a correctional centre for allegedly stabbing his Co-tenant,Dauda Abdulgafar. The procecutor,Olayiwola Razaq,told the court that Sodeeq deliberately used a knife to inflict deep cut on the victim's left hand, adding that Dauda is currently receiving treatment in hospital. He told the court that Sodeeq and the victim are tenants in the same house and that the victim suspected Dauda of stealing some properties and reported to their landlord. The prosecutor said the offense was committed on on March 1st, 2021 at Zone D2 itafa community offa  He said the offence was contrary to punishable under section 335 of the criminal code cap 34 Vol.2 Laws of kwara State of Nigeria 2002. Defense counsel okobe Najite urged the court to grant his client Bail, promising that he would stand his trial.
